Jack had done work for a neighbour and kept popping up on FB so when we spotted a split rafter in the roof I completed a quote request online and Jack rang back same day. With help of drone outside, Jack explained clearly that more rafters were damaged and needed replacing, roofing felt had deteriorated and split in places allowing water to run down, wet rafters, and a twenty year old dry ridge had failed as not done right inside loft. Drone confirmed porous, worn and some damaged tiles. This all explained constant wet and mould in one bedroom. Quite a shock needing a new roof but within a week, lovely new roof complete with added air vents in new modern Marley tiles, chimney capped and nice cement work and repointing. Six new rafters, underlay /felting and new battens. Scaffolding up next day and Jack and his workmen arrived daily on time with very good communication and explanation from Jack. Thanks to Jack with his knowledge and experience we have a fantastic new roof and can now decorate that bedroom knowing it will now be dry and alright. Special mention to Martin who was very brave with a larger than expected wasps nest. Everywhere cleaned up on completion and Jack took my husband up scaffolding to see finished work close up, and drone pics of work in progress and completed work. Jack does property maintenance too, so we are likely to have Jack back sometime in the future for other work. Wholeheartedly recommend Jack. Thanks Jack, great job.

After months of waiting for a local roofer to come and investigate a roof issue I finally gave up and contacted Holmlea Roofing - the best thing I ever did!! Jack promptly arrived the next day, identified what was causing the leak and provided a written quote, carefully explaining what was required. He arranged to make the repair, liaising with my tenant. In the event, once tiles were removed, we found that new felt and battens were required for the whole roof Jack showed me drone photos so that I could understand the extent of damage and gave me repair options either using existing tiles, less expensive, or new roof tiles. The communication was excellent and Jack was very professional and the job was well priced. Everything was clearly explained and site left tidy at the end of the job. We were very pleased with the whole process and would definitely recommend Holmlea and use them again Great job Jack and team - thank you!!

I found this company on Facebook and made the appointment really easily and quickly. No messing around. I had quick and informative communication and Jack arrived, as promised. I showed him where my leak was and he then sent a drone up to check out my roof. He found the problem quickly which we couldn’t see from the ground and showed me. He fixed it there and then! All I needed was a tile adjustment. No big job or fee at all. Wow. How impressed was I? You dread companies will dupe you into a large unnecessary job with a big bill as you’re at their mercy. But Jack was so kind and courteous. Thank you so much for your help. Crossed fingers all is sorted and I will definitely use this company, and hopefully Jack personally, again.

I recently used Holmlea Roofing for a complete flat roof replacement, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the initial inspection with Jack to the final cleanup, the entire process was professional, polite, and efficient. They clearly broke down the quote so I knew exactly where my money was going and stuck to the original price with no hidden fees. The quality of the work is outstanding, and they went above and beyond to ensure I was informed and satisfied at every stage. A credit to the trade, and I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family.

Made the call to Holmlea roofing via trustarader, and received a call back within an hour. Jack arranged a time to visit and give me a qoute. He took a look and gave me a detailed breakdown of what was required to fix my conservatory roof and add the required guttering and pipes to my drain. IMHO a very reasonable price was agreed. On the day of the job he turned up on time and with no messing around got the job done to a high standard. From first call to job completion was 5 days, great customer service and I would recommend Holmlea Roofing to anyone.
